About Rescue Guy
Rescue Guy was founded out of a true passion for saving lives and a clear vision: training the future generation of disaster rescue teams and First Respose Team in Israel and around the world. The company was founded by Guy Manzur, a rescue and recovery expert with over 25 years of experience in the field and dealing with the most complex emergency missions.
"I began my career about 25 years ago. During this period, I participated in significant and challenging rescue and recovery operations in Israel and around the world, including earthquakes in Turkey, Nepal, the Brazil dam collapse disaster, the Karmei Yosef sinkhole disaster, the collapse of the TLV CBD multi-story car park , and many other crises .
As a reserve Major in the Israel Search and Rescue Unit, I developed advanced skills in managing emergency situations, leading professional rescue teams, coping under pressure, examining equipment and technologies, devising strategies and instructions for locating trapped victims at sites of destruction and complex rescue using advanced techniques.
The experience I gained in rescue missions in Israel and around the world taught me that training local rescue teams is critical. These teams can provide an effective initial response that significantly increases the chance of saving lives. The knowledge, expertise, and experience I have gained over the years are the foundation of the services we offer."
